(…) wir sind eben aus Rom zurück gekehrt und ich möchte mich bedanken, es ist alles ganz toll gelaufen. Die Messe und die zwei Konzerte waren organisatorisch problemlos. Wir haben sehr viel Lob wegen unserer Leistung bekommen. Die Römer sind ein fachkundiges Publikum, die gehen raus, wenn etwas nicht stimmt. Ich war erstaunt, dass man uns am Ende des Konzertes stehend rhythmisch Beifall spendete, die Begeisterung war groß. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

(…) non è facile esprimere, in poche parole, le emozioni che ci ha dato L’ “International Folk Choir Festival” di Barcellona. Una lunga attesa, nei mesi che hanno preceduto l’evento, durante i quali ci siamo preparati con impegno e tenacia, sostenuti e costantemente rassicurati e assistiti in ogni momento dalla Vostra Organizzazione, che si è sempre dimostrata disponibile, gentile ed efficiente, dall’inizio alla fine, e anche oltre. Poi tutto un susseguirsi di emozioni e soddisfazioni: l’arrivo a Barcellona, bellissima e multi etnica città, che ha tantissimo da offrire a chiunque; l’incontro con tutti gli altri Cori provenienti da ogni angolo d’Europa, così diversi da noi, ma così ugualmente accomunati dalla stessa nostra passione per il canto. Proprio da loro abbiamo avuto la prima grande soddisfazione, quando ci hanno dimostrato il loro apprezzamento con una marea di applausi e strette di mano. Come tutti, speravamo anche noi di fare una bella figura e di essere apprezzati anche dalla Giuria, ma mai avremmo immaginato di avere una gratificazione così grande come quella che ci è stata tributata: quando il Presidente della Giuria, Prof. Michael Rinscheid ha annunciato a sorpresa lo “Special Prize for the Best Song” per il canto “Anninnia, anninnia” cantato dal Coro Femminile Eufonia, un urlo di gioia incontenibile si è levato all’unisono, seguito subito da una immensa commozione… Noi, così “piccoli” in questa enorme Cattedrale di questa grande Città d’Europa, in questo importante Festival Internazionale, eravamo stati capaci di trasmettere l’emozione del canto della nostra Terra! Quanto lavoro e quanta fatica stanno dietro a questo risultato lo sappiamo solo noi, ma essere riusciti con le nostre voci a coinvolgere tutti in un unico grande abbraccio, ci ha dato un’emozione unica e vibrante: la sensazione di parlare un linguaggio universale che, come il nostro canto, non ha più frontiere… Grazie, non ce lo dimenticheremo mai.
Salve (…), siamo appena rientrati e già ci manca quella magica atmosfera del FESTIVAL...che storia INCREDIBILE! Non avremmo sperato in tanta bellezza e tanta riconoscenza nemmeno nel più sfrenato dei nostri sogni: abbiamo quasi paura di svegliarci! Non so dirle quanto sono e siamo grati a Lei in prima persona, per la sua gentilezza e professionalità, e quanto alla Organizzazione alla quale Lei fa capo, per la grande soddisfazione che ci avete regalato: non lo dimenticheremo mai, e lo faremo sapere a tutti! Con un bagaglio indimenticabile di ricordi meravigliosi, ricco di magnifiche esperienze, siamo tornati a Tula, nella nostra cara Sardegna, con ancora l’eco dei canti di tutto il mondo (…) e poi tutto, tutto quanto ci ha rapito l’animo la coscienza e il cuore. E’ per noi, un bilancio molto positivo. Abbiamo avuto a che fare con una festa di popolo, in cui noi rappresentavamo la Sardegna e il nostro paese di Tula. Siamo andati oltre ogni nostra previsione proponendo con semplicità e fedeltà assoluta la musica sarda. Lo spettacolo più bello che un popolo può offrire è senz’altro quello della propria storia e della propria cultura. Nei giorni trascorsi con voi a Barcellona abbiamo toccato con mano quanto sia grande la vostra ospitalità, il vostro ordine e la vostra genialità; e di questo vogliamo esprimervi la nostra ammirazione. Mit unvergesslich schönen Eindrücken sind wir alle wohlbehalten wieder im Freigericht angekommen. Für Ihre Bemühungen, die zum großartigen Verlauf unseres Besuches der Ewigen Stadt wesentlich beigetragen haben, möchten wir uns noch einmal bei Ihnen und Ihren Kolleginnen herzlich bedanken. Musikalisch war unser Konzert in St. Ignazius das Highlight schlechthin. Es ist ein großartiges Gefühl für jede Sängerin und jeden Sänger in einem solch schönen monumentalen Sakralbau musizieren zu dürfen (…). Auch die Besichtigung der vatikanischen Museen mit ihren unermesslichen Schätzen und dem krönenden Abschluss mit der Sixtina wird uns in bester Erinnerung bleiben. Vielleicht werden wir ja wieder einmal bei einem Festival Kontakt haben.

Ebenso natürlich das Erlebnis einer Messe im Petersdom. Ich danke Ihnen tausendmal für die Vermittlung. Die Organisation seitens Ihres Teams, die Betreuung im Vorfeld, die Klärung aller Fragen – alles war perfekt!!! Vielen Dank auch für die Konzertprogramme und die Plakate für alle Mitwirkenden. Herzlichen Dank an all die fleißigen Organisatoren vor Ort - von mir, meinen Begleitlehren und vom ganzen Chor!!! Unsere Dirigentin, Dr. Gudrun Schröfel, ist besonders mit der professionellen Organisation, dem schönen Hotel, den wunderbaren Kirchen und dem herzlichen Publikum zufrieden gewesen… Alles war perfekt! Auch wir aus dem Büro haben sehr gerne mit euch zusammen gearbeitet. Es ist eine große Hilfe, so professionelle Partner zu haben. Ich hoffe, dass wir bei anderer Gelegenheit wieder zusammen arbeiten können. Auf jeden Fall werde ich Eure professionelle Zusammenarbeit weiterempfehlen.

The festival was great! The organisation was very good! I have been at festivals in Italy and Spain but compared to yours, I really have to say that the "Europe and its Songs" was the best of all! (…). The Jury was professional, friendly and worked seriously! About the concerts, the Church Santa Maria del Pí was a good choice for the festival: good location and very good acoustic. The new harbour restaurant was a beautiful place for the farewell-party, which was excellent! (…). Thanks to you and all your colleagues for this marvellous experience.

VIII International Festival “Europe and its Songs”
September 27– October 1, 2006 - Barcelona, Spain
The VIII International Choir Competition in Barcelona was a wonderful experience for the members of our choir. It was not only the double triumph in the competition that contributed to this. Of course, we are happy to have achieved such a smashing success. But it was also the general atmosphere of the event, the friendly and willing support from the organizers and the kind approach of the jury members that made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. (…). We would also like to thank the members of the jury for their appreciation and objective evaluation. And, of course, a special thank to the president of the International Association Friends of Sacred Music and the president of the festival for organizing this beautiful event. As to specific aspects, we appreciated the wonderful atmosphere and acoustics in the Church Santa Maria del Pí. It was a pleasure for us singing there. The open air events (open air concerts and the parade) were a nice experience as well. It gave us the opportunity to mix with other choirs and make contacts, it was very spontaneous and lively. We also appreciated the choice of hotel. Malgrat was a nice place to relax, shop, swim, etc. Cartago Nova Hotel and its staff offered us all we needed as to accommodation, meals and services (…). Special thanks for the final dinner. The atmosphere of all the choirs meeting, celebrating, singing and dancing is something to remember. If it only had lasted longer…(…). By all means, it was a wonderful week for us and we hope to meet again at some of your future events.

Sehr geehrter Herr Courtial, recht herzlich möchte ich mich im Namen meiner beiden Chöre aus Düsseldorf und Hilden sowie meines Orchesters, der Rumänischen Staatsphilharmonie „Dinu Lipatti“ aus Satu Mare, für den ausgezeichnet organisierten Rom-Aufenthalt in dieser Woche bedanken. Zum einen waren sowohl alle Transfers, Hotelaufenthalte und Stadtrundfahrten bestens durchgeführt und betreut, zum anderen waren auch die beiden Konzerte in SS. Apostoli und S. Ignazio professionell organisiert – von der Werbung bis zur technischen Abwicklung. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich in diesem Zusammenhang bei Vittoria Assettati und dem freundlichen Herrn vom Vatikan bedanken, die beide unsere Konzerte wirklich ausgezeichnet durchorganisiert und umgesetzt haben! Mein Orchester bereist schon seit über 30 Jahren regelmäßig Italien – von Mailand bis Sizilien. Eine solch professionelle Konzertorganisation hat es nach Aussage langjähriger Orchestermitglieder in Italien noch nicht erlebt! In diesem Sinne nochmals ein ganz großes Dankeschön aller Beteiligten! Und ich bin mir sicher, dass dies nicht unsere letzte Zusammenarbeit war – sei es in Rom, sei es anderswo. Mit freundlichen Grüßen. Franz Lamprecht
